Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP)
The CSCMP is a not-for-profit professional business organization consisting of individuals throughout the world who have interests and/or responsibilities in logistics and supply chain management, and the related functions that make up these professions. Its purpose is to enhance the development of the logistics and supply chain management professions by providing these individuals with educational opportunities and relevant information through a variety of programs, services, and activities.
This organization provides members with resources such as educational tools, research findings, access to industry experts, and networking opportunities. In addition, the CSCMP sponsors events such as conferences and webinars on topics related to supply chain management. Membership in the CSCMP is open to individuals who work in or support the logistics and supply chain industries in any capacity, including practitioners, educators, and students.
The CSCMP offers a certification program called SCPro. The SCProTM Certification System is a tiered program that starts with entry-level certifications and works its way up to master the fundamentals of supply chain management, culminating in a professional-level program that assesses developing knowledge and abilities across integrated supply chain activities.
