Export Compliance
Export compliance is the process of adhering to all relevant rules and regulations when exporting products from one country to another. This includes:
- ensuring that products are properly packaged and labeled,
- all required documentation is in order,
- failure to comply with export compliance requirements can result in delays, fines,
- other penalties.
Thus, it is important for companies engaged in international trade to have a good understanding of export compliance requirements and to put appropriate procedures in place to ensure compliance. Many logistics service providers offer export compliance services to help companies meet their obligations.
